10-17-06 - 2 dead mice found in basement, heads crushed and stuck in Better Mousetrap brand mousetraps. Cause of death: sudden blunt trauma to head.

On the "there's no end" front - According to Wikipedia, female mice come into heat around every five days, the gestation period is approximately 18 to 21 days, and typical litter size is 8 to 12 young.
At these rates of reproduction, catching 2 per day is like trying to pay off a $5,000 credit card bill by paying only the minimum.
Do those mousetraps come by the case?
I'm going to buy more mousetraps today. Killing them 2 at a time is not satisfying my bloodlust...
